Since our humble beginning in 1960, the Rachel Swart Fund has been inspired by the courage and fortitude of the people we serve. Above all else, we identify with the wish that many people living with disabilities have: to lead full, active and independent lives, which we help them to achieve by providing assistive devices at no charge.
In an effort to improve transparency and better conceptualize the work that the Rachel Swart Fund has been doing for over half a century, we have designed, developed and begun implementing a comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy. Composed of various moving parts, the M&E strategy seeks to define and measure the impact our organisation has on our beneficiaries and the communities in which we work. Our Theory of Change Logical Framework is one small piece of our strategy, but it helps illustrate our many goals and objectives, as well as what we require to accomplish them.
